Ok guys it is almost time for a turbo. My truck is a 1990 F-250 N/A 7.3 5spd 4x4 132,000 with 3.55 gear. I installed a rebuilt injection pump at 100,000 and I installed a Luk single mass conversion just a few miles ago. My question is, how much of a difference does the turbo add to my truck realistically? Pulling my chevelle or jeep on the car trailer it does ok, but when I pull my 32' gooseneck it is a load on the truck here in the foothills of SC. I am considering adding the Banks kit and I am also wanting to know where is the best place and price to get the kit from? Thanks!

When I added the turbo system to the famed Enterprise I was skeptical of the added gains but let me tell ya when I fired her up for the first time with the air stuffer from banks I thought I had gotten behind the wheel of someone else's truck - she was not the same and I will say with blinking that it was the best money ever spent in raising the power output from under her hood. I would do it again any day of the week without hesitation...

There are three makers of turbo systems for the IDI's

ATS
Hypermax
and Banks

You can't go wrong with any of the them...
