Does anyone know if the 2011 SD's have battery run down protection? The other night I went to a movie, left my park lamps on mistakingly. I guess I ignored the chime warning, closed the doors and hit the lock button as I walked away. I looked back when I was about 75 yards away (parked a long way off), and saw lights on...I left them on to see if they would go off. After the movie, they were still on.

I had previously tested the interior lights...left them on (pressed the dome light to on position and intentionally left it on). I closed the door, locked it, and waited about 10 min...checked it, and it had gone off. I assumed to protect the battery. Why are the exterior lights not going off?

Anyone experienced this problem?

I left my headlights on and went to bed one night. Went out the next morning and the lights were off. When I opened the door the chime went off and then I notice I left the lights on. Started up just fine. Now that I think about it I read somewhere in my paperwork that it states low voltage disconnect or something along those lines.

Thanks...I'll check my manual for "low voltage" or something along those lines...I probably just didn't see it under that subject in the manual index, and I probably didn't leave my park lamps on long enough for the truck computer to shut them off. Thanks again.
