I didn't want to shell out a bunch of cash on a special cable for my 7.3 so I rebuilt the terminal. took about an hour to finish. Here are some pictures. I filled the mold with lead. Drilling out the holes took some time. Started with small drills and only going in about a 1/4" at a time working up to the correct size and stating over again with the small drill till I got through the whole terminal. The final drill size for the post was 11/16". lol yep I found out that lead is not that easy to drill. any way used a hacksaw to cut the slot, and files to shape the taper and outside of terminal. of course you need to be careful when working with hot lead. use all precautions. The terminal works great and its a lot more beefier. Best thing was I saved over 400$ with some old lead that I had.

Nice Job. Looks beefy.

Wouldn't be too hard to whittle a wooden post to keep the hole from filling with lead. I've added lead washers under the nuts on my terminals when the nuts start sinking into the lug.
