Belt number!

Does anybody know the part number for the belt that goes around the alt. and vaccum pump? Tim

Re: Belt number!

Mine is the short belt that goes from the alt. to the pump. Would it make a differance if it had ac? I still have mine factor with three belts not one. Tim

Yes, according to the Gates catalog, it makes a difference whether or not the accessories included A/C, even if it doesn't have A/C now.

Understand, I'm not looking at your truck /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif But I've checked twice, in the cheap belts and the Gates, and they both list those lengths for "with A/C" and "without A/C" for a belt that is called out specifically:

"Belt - Alternator & Vacuum Pump"

Doesn't mean it's right, only that that's the only resource I have available.

Ok!... confusing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif but whatever! It does have ac but it don't work so I've don't have a belt on it. I need a clutch and a belt to see if it works. Thanks Tim
