I have a friend with a 02 SD and is interested in installing a open element air intake, What brand in your opinion is best and whats the price???

Looks like you already have the Tymar intake on yours. That's what I have too. What does your 02 friend think of yours???

I have the tymar also. Its cheap compared to some of the other options, and has better filtration than most of the other options out there.

HOWEVER!!

If he likes to play in the mud/water, then those "other options" become a little more attractive, as they protect the filter media better than the tymar style setups.

He likes my Tymar was not sure that Tymar had a setup for the SD, but you answered my question, How much does Dale charge for the SD setup??

oooh boy... Its been a few years, and I ordered some other stuff from him at the same time...

Best bet is to shoot him an email or call him during normal hours (pacific coast time). In case his prices have changed any.

Its under 200 bucks, 168 or something? Like i said, its been awhile.
