Just got a set for my 00 350 4x4 Do the boots go up or down?

I just put a set on my 01 and I asked same thing, they go down (the boots), I thought they did because the drain holes need to be down and the writting on the shocks should be upside. I was told boots go down in that case.

It really depends on the shock... alot you can mount either direction... so check with the manufacturer if you want to mount them differently....
