I have read reports that using "raw" oils in the engine can lead to possible engine failure. Is there any truth to this. I would like to try bio-diesel in my truck but have reservations.
You can run up to B5 with no warranty problems.I don't know for sure what you mean by raw oils but the only thing that bio-diesel hurts is the injectors. I've run B20 with better mileage and quietier engine. Jeep factory fills there diesels with bio-diesel
Do you mean SVO (Straight Vegetable Oil)? If so, no. SVO fuel requires some serious engine modifications. Don't know if anyone has tried running a 6.0L on SVO.
