2011 F250 - Super Duty-Oxford White
Having trouble with the black trim leaving vertical stripes on the body. Not too bad to clean off but I would like to know if there is something that I can do to prevent the striping in the first place. Striping occurs under the windows, under the bed trim and under the side mirror. Thanks for any thoughts.

I have the white and waxed it and have had no problems since.

In my case I also have the streaking happening on all our vehicles. Two are shadow gray and one is yellow. We get an extreme amount of rain which is tainted with smog and acidic properties. I don't believe the trim colour is the culprit as far as the colour of the streak goes but it more than likely is the cause of the position or area of the streaks. The streaks I think you will find are in areas where the water run off is channeled. About all you can do is keep your vehicle clean and do paint maintenance like polishing and waxing with good quality products. Also don't forget about clay bars on the initial clean up. Good luck.
