my blind spot mirror got busted while i was out of town last week. dealer wants 48 bucks for a new one. anywhere i can get one aftermarket? already checked 1stfordparts and spoke with powerstrokeshop on the phone. with shipping, they would be about the same price as the dealer. i was thinking maybe another company makes an aftermarket part for it or something.

My wife busted the passanger side mirror on her Suburban. No replacements available except from the dealer. He wanted to replace the whole unit @ 250 dollars.

I found a glass shop that was able to remove the broken mirror, cut a template and create a replacement mirror. Cost me about 45 bucks installed. Looks as good as new.

Try your local glass shops. They really surprised me.
