Has anyone put a body lift on PSD? Where did you get them from? How do they differ from a gaser? All of them I have found say (exc diesel) why? Thanks

My truck has a 3" body lift......was on there when I bought it. I don't know why they would say "exc. diesel". The one on my truck looks just like the one I had on a gasser in the past. I would rather have a suspension lift, if I was doing it myself (and could afford it). No problems with it, but I think they look better without the frame showing the way it does with a body lift.

My buddy said that you cant body lift a diesel because theres too much stuff to move or something. However if its been done, its been done. We have the easiest type of suspension to lift..

I talked to a lift man about one and he said not to cause it would over heat the diesel /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif. Just going by what he said.

Where did you get the body lift for your superduty? I do have an intercooler on my truck was it a big deal to mod? I don't see how overheating would be an issue??? If it is I can make a new fan schroud. Anyone else done this??

i've only come across one in my searches and it was not for a cc. and it was like 100 bucks. i would think if you can find one it will have some brackets to lower your shroud.
little side note
i had my truck about 2 days and went to my local 4 wheel parts asking about one. he said the same thing about the overheating thing due to intercooler. i think they just assume the older ones have em too i guess. i dont think you'll have a problem. do it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif
