There have been several folks with the annoying boost gauge flutter/noise issues lately, and I'm wondering if others here have the same issue, and if there is a permanent fix? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

My gauge happens to be an Isspro, but apparently other makes have the same problem, but for any of you that have had this issue, what did you do to rectify the problem?
Personally, the sound starts at just over 15 PSI, and once it gets over 20 PSI sounds like a manifold exhaust leak!

Thanks..

where do you have it plumbed? If you are going to the map sensor than you can move it to the y-pipe using an AIH delete and it will all but remove the flutter completely. Mine rattled like crazy in the map line, but in the aih, it rarely makes a sound. I have the isspro too and they seem to be notorious for this.

For anyone experiencing flutter with an ISSPRO boost gauge, please PM me your contact info - I have some parts coming next week which should address the problem. As noted above, the MAP line pressure pulses so much that it causes this effect, but we are working on some changes to damp this effect out.

Thanks,
Michael
