What kind of boost pressure should I be seeing on my gauge? I noticed when I installed the gauge that the tubing that comes with it has a propensity to kink due to it being so rigid, any ideas to fix that? On the highway I see about 5-8 lbs but never more than that and rarely anything in town. Any help would be appreciated. 02 Excursion 7.3.

What mods do you have?? Do you have a pyro, if so, what does it ususally read in proportion to the Boost gauge?

Sounds pretty normal. I get 6 boost at 2000 rpm, steady 10ish towing 8.5k, and non existant in town unless I unleash the X.

Big,
i just installed the gauges in my truck also and asked the same questions on here The answers i got matched what my truck was doing.Bone stock cruising on the highway(excelerating to 70 i get about 8-10 then levels off to about 3psi.Around town that gauge rarely moves above 2psi.I have seen a increase in the numbers when towing but not enough to mention.I have nt really towed anything yet to make the engine really work.

I get the same boost numbers as most, going down the freeway, empty, about 3-5 lbs. Around town and when I accelerate, boost goes up proportionately, and if I mash the pedal to the floor, it can get up to up to 25-30 lbs, on the 80hp program.
Around town, again, upon acceleration from a dead stop, when I'm not putting my right foot in it, will go up between 5-12 lbs and then drop down to the 3-5 range, as the auto shift up in gears.
Towing a 12K TT last weekend, I saw 7-15 lbs, depending on the flatness of the road and how much right foot I gave it. If I was pulling a grade, I got up to 25-27 lbs.
