I just installed a set of gauges(pyro/Boost/Trans temp) im a little concerned with the boost reading .On a stock truck. At 70mph im only reading a little under 10psi.Is this right?Or is this the sign of the turbo going south on me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Cruising it could be 1-10 ...
Is this when accelerating or just crusing? Mine averages about 3psi crusing in the level.

How tight did you tighten the fittings on the boost gauge?

This is just cruising .I first thought maybe i got a little carried away with the tightning,i went back and checked all is ok there.Thanks for the info.

Sure, and that actually sounds a tad high to me, if it's staying locked on 10 psi. It should be close to nil when coasting downhill, 3-5psi on flat ground, and 10+ if climbing a good hill.

My boost reads right at 6 at 70 mph solo. Not uncommon for it to stay at 10 when towing. Idle 0.

Heck, I'd have to be towing my high fiver into a headwind to see 10psi. Your readings are not to low. They are too high! I'd check the gauge.

After getting her out on the highway today.Just cruising .At 70mph she runs up to 10psi when accelerating and slowly comes down to about 3psi.All seems to be well in the range,that i hear is correct.Thanks again .
