Hey Man...
What could cause both the front tank (which is only 6 months old) fuel filler hose as well as the rear tank filler hose to seem almost completely stopped up...allowing only a slight trickle of fuel to go in at a time...no matter what level the tank is in fuel content.
I have checked for kinks in these 2 inch hoses. None.
I discovered vent hoses capped on each. Removing the caps makes no difference either.
This happened simultaneously...with one tank being the 1995 original...and the front one only 6 months old.
Man...I hope there are some experienced solutions on how to troubleshoot this and get it fixed.
I find it real hard to believe that even clogged air vent fittings
can prevent the flow of diesel like this...with PLENTY of air out space left in the 2 inch hose itself...while trying to pump...and now pour from a 5 gallon tank into a funnel to get any fuel in at all.
Anyone experience this?
Any ideas?
I am new tonight to the forum...but I like all the involved assistance I have read so far.
Mine is a F-250 1995 7.3L all stock...
If you have had this happen...or know how to approach solving it...please reply here...or send an email to [email protected]
Keep it rollin'
