If you buy a job 1 that has been on the dealers lot do they do any updates? My Dad just bought a job 1 last week and I own a job 1 that I have had for a year and a half.
I was looking his over and it got me thinking, does the dealer have to do any updates to the trucks that they have on their lots? I had to replace my radiator. Is this something they would do? Or is it something you do only if it goes bad?

They're probably only going to fix it if it's a problem for a customer.I doubt they'd spend the money going around fixing trucks sitting on the lot unless they have to.

Why did you have to replace or radiator. Mine is in the shop for the same thing, just makeing sure there aren't any recalls. My dealer isn't very helpful
Thanks

Any used vehicle that we sell is considered "renewed". All necessary maintenance will be done to bring the vehicle up to date, brakes and tires are replaced if they are worn over 50%. Any necessary repairs and recalls will be done as well.

If by updated you mean would we replace a radiator that is NOT leaking, even though an updated radiator is available, the answer to that would be no. You're not allowed to do that (as per Ford), unless there is a fault.

I bought a job#1 on 1-3-09 . dealer had done all reflashes and installed the "T" on radiator bottle. I just turned 1000 miles tonight. had my 3rd regen tonight. Never seen any smoke. Would not have known it was in regen mode if i had not seen it on the screen. Haven't seen anything leaking yet but i know that radiator is gonna leave me stranded some day. It would be nice if ford would fix them on all job1's. They know there gonna blow....
