Brake / auto trans interlock

The fuse on the circuit for the brake / auto trans interlock (#34 or 35?)is blowing. I changed to 20A fuse for a temporary fix. Now the 20A fuse is blowing. I assume there must be a solenoid to release the shift lever. Does anyone know where this is located (steering column or transmission)?

It is on top of the steering column. You will need to drop it down a bit to see the solenoid.
