I want to wire a brake controller into my 89 F250 which doesn't have the factory tow package, so no connectors that I can find anywhere. Where should I tap into to get a brake signal? Is it just the brake light wire?

Take the signal by splicing off the switch on the back of the brake pedal under the dash.
