I have a 02 F250 7.3L that has a noise from what appears to be coming from the brake pedal sensor. It happens upon turning the ignition to the run position, and will continue to make noise driving down the road. If I touch the break pedal it will stop, and if I push the sensor forwards or backwards that is mounted to the brake pedal arm (behind the fuse panel dash) it will stop. When I pull fuse #18 in the owners manual (turn lamps/brake on-off switch (high)) it won't make any noise. It has the correct fuse size (20 amp), and it also has a factory installed trailer brake harness system, but an aftermarket brake controller from the previous owner. Just wondering what is causing the noise, and how I go about fixing it, before it drives me crazy!
Thanks for any input!!
