I Purchased front and rear Buckstop bumpers in the past for my 99 F-250. They are great bumpers - the fit & Finish is awesome. They are a little expensive. Currently I am running ranchhand.com Legend series on my 2005 - very nice bumpers also - they will custom build to whatever you need - winches, lights, etc. and are a lot cheaper than the Buckstop. In my opinion you can't go wrong with either one.

Very high quality and custom made for YOU! Take a look at the one they made for me. Very sturdy!

I don't know how they compare in price to the other manufacturers out there, but I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Not that I'm ever going to need another front bumper on this truck.

I just finished installing front and rear Buckstops on my 07 and I was very impressed with the fit and quality. Very easy (except for the weight) install with no fab work or modifications needed.

For info, the front "Classic" along with a Warn 16.5 winch dropped the front an inch (approx 300lbs additional weight over the stock bumper). I then swapped in the F550 springs (7000lbs) and it came back up an inch and a half.

Does ANYONE make something like this with GOOD (doesn't have to be Ultimately perfect) fit and finish at an affordable price? Nothing non-US made though.

One more thing...thanks to you VETs for your service, prayers to you with friends and loved ones in the fight. God Bless America and SEMPER FI!!

Well unfortunatly it is a case of you-get-what-you-pay-for. There are some pipe based bumpers that are cheaper but if the look of the Buckstops is what you want then you need to pony up the dollars.

Dutch_Thurman where in the High Desert are you located?

I have the buckstop classic bumper on my 05. I looked at all the bumpers that are made and the buckstop was the best and cheaper than some of the others. The roadarmor and others would look good if you had 40"+ size tires, but with 35" tires those bumpers overpowered the rest of the truck to much for my tastes.
I do not like the looks of the pipe based bumpers, but they are made very strong.

good luck,
Brian Moore
