Ok I want to buy this truck, but I don't want a truck that is in the shop all the time.

One owner.
Asking price 16k

It is a very good looking truck!
I tested the truck empty and with 2 3000lb pallets of shingles on the back.
Truck drives very well

Upgrades:
K&N intake
Banks inter-cooler
ATS Aurora 4000 turbo
ARP head studs
Ported heads
4" exhaust
H&S mini max programmer
Gauges
Air Dog lift pump
Regulated fuel return
Bullet Proof remote oil cooler with oil filter
3" lift soft ride springs up front
2.0 Fox shocks and steering stabilizer
Cal Trax traction bars
Air bag's on back with on board air compressor and in cab adjustable (Currently has an electrical short near the pump)
ATS stage 3 transmission with about 400K miles left on warrantee
New Rock Star rims with Toyo tires that have about 5K miles on them
Bradford Built work bed, Rino Lined and under body tool boxes
Vented and Slotted brake rotors
Braded stainless brake lines

Also includes an almost new set of commercial 100k tires and steel rims

The current owner started the upgrades to avoid any problems and has taken very good care of it.
He said he is selling it because upgrading it is like an addiction for him and he has spent 50k on all the upgrades.

i'd get a good monitor to check the internals. also check for leaks, blow by drive it make it it handles and steers how you like etc.

I'll state my opinion to get it going for ya..........that's a ton of miles! I haven't been watching to see how many miles these engines go. It used to be you'd hear "a diesel engine will go 300,000 miles. The rest of the truck will wear out first". If there' anything to it, you're there (on second thought, I think they were talking about a Dodge and Cummins). Now hopefully you'll get some real world opinions. I'd be pretty concerned myself. It is a great looking truck and there's definitely some coin in aftermarket parts.

With all the engine mods present I would worry more about the front axle. Has any work been done there? That's a good looking truck. It does look well taken care of. With all the upgrades I think it's worth it. I would offer 14k to see if you could save 1- 2k for anything you missed or shows up. I always look at what you other options are, new means big bucks and you could end up in the shop just as well. Look at what used trucks are going for in the area. I bought my King Ranch for a bit over 47k with a 3k warranty and 0%. Even at that $750 month for six years was a long time and I still have been able to keep the NEWTRUCKIDUS disease at bay by thinking about those strokes.

Thank you.

The miles are my concern.
I am going to take the truck to ATS, and see what they think.

Thank you.

I can get basically the same truck without the mods and lower miles.
I know the 6.0 need some fixes to make it a great engine.
I really don't want to spend 15k and then spend another 10k for the basic mods

I cured newtruckidus years ago.
I have not had a car payment in 20 years.

I agree I am going to push on the price and see, after the ATS mechanic gives me the ok.

I still drive my 94 F250 that has over 500,000 miles on it. I think the superduty trucks are built a lot better than my '94.
