Buzz test question

Help! I have valve covers off. replacing gaskets and harness and glow plugs. would I be able to do a buzz test with my AE if I plug them into the harness? I had a # 1 injector code and want to see if this will fix or do I have a injector bad? any info may help

As long as everything is plugged in, I don't see any reason why it would not work.
