hey guys, a few weeks ago i got my c6 transmission rebuilt for my 88' f250. when i started talking to the transmission guy about what exactly i wanted he old me that he could put a planetary gear out of the e4od and put it in the c6 for a slightly lower gear for towing. i didnt know if anyone had known that because i never heard it before so i thought i would share this information. by the way the tranny works great for towing!

The E4OD planetary will give you a lower first and second gear, which helps get the load moving. Third gear is the same with both gear sets, 1:1 ratio.
