I have a 2004 F750 7.2 liter Cat that drives perfectly for the first 5-10 minutes until the truck heats up and then acts like it is starving for fuel. It seems like it is misfiring and drives like a turd and I think air may be getting into the fuel. If the truck is in neutral and I rev the engine it backfires. After driving the truck for another 5-10 minutes it goes away.
I have replaced the oil and the fuel filter. Does anyone know how to know if my truck has two fuel filters? I didn't see one on the frame rail only in the larger one in the engine compartment.I am also not sure how to diagnose this issue. Anyone else have this problem or have input?
Thanks in advance
