I had my EX at the dealer for an axle leak. I had them look at a creaking noise under the passenger front floor board. It seems to me to be a cab bushing. They never really got to address the problem. The service advisor told me that sometimes they can just re-torque the bolts and the noise goes away. I looked at the bolts briefly this evening. Do I have to tighten them from inside the cab under the carpet? The rubber bushings on the bottom side are pretty dry rotted and cracked looking. Are these bolts usually seized up or should I be able to tighten them myself?
The dealer also told me that the bushings are not available from Ford anymore. Any suggestions on something aftermarket?

I'm in the same situation, the body mounts have to be replaced on my 02. First thing I think of is poly-E's but in stock length I'm not sure of.
