Check out the shmoes at O'Reilly's. You should be able to get one there for about $200 including the core charge. Getting the exact code you want may require some investigation(or may not be available). As is the case with the likes of O'Reilly's - don't expect any help from them - just tell them the part # you want & make them order it. Any auto programmed PCM will work - and can be reflashed to what you want.

Thanks - I'm not in any hurry, just want to have a spare in the stable. Sooo, I need to look at all the options and sources.

Thanks!

PS, take care of that IVS yet?

One thing to remember regarding the Cali PCMs: The connector pinout is substantially different than the other 94-97 PCMs (thats why they are such a PITA to find). You can't just reflash an older one. Cheers!

Yeah, the IVS is good.

I don't think the change in the pinouts hit until the CA trucks got the split shot injectors in 96. I know the hard copy schmatics I have for my truck don't mention anything special for Ca trucks, and what was there matched the pins I checked.

Edit added: I believe the vans got the split shot injectors in '97 nationwide.

I did a post one time (maybe it was on another forum) where listed the differences (I did mean the Cali split-shot trucks). Some was for the GP monitoring cicuits and MAP signal (and I forget what else). Cheers!
