I am installing a backup camera for a 5th wheel and also a plug for the trailer lights & brakes. Can I enlarge the two holes in pic to fit two of these plugs?

I would say no. That area is several layers of steel, where the box and supports come together.

Maybe get a piece of metal plate, drill the holes you need, mount your connector and camera and then mount the plate to the edge of the bed?

you wil need a hole saw, but it can be done. the line pointing to the bottom is where i have my 9 pin connector installed.

I have the saw, just wanted to be sure that it would not cause a problem. How is that location working for you?

Great, the cord stays behind the 5th wheel and does not get caught on anything in the bed during turns. Also keeps tailgate from getting scratched by not having the cord goind down to the bumper.
