Hi i have a 4 door 2006 f250 xl with power locks but no keyless entry. I bought a pke system and I'm having a hard time hooking it up.

I found the p/g and the p/y wires that are for the lock and unlock but it didn't work. I put 12v to these wiris and I hear a motor running but nothing moves.

I found that my truck door locks are a negitve trigger reverse polarity syatem, so what am I doing wrong?

I may be wrong, but if you have power locks you should just be able to flash a key fob to the truck. Then you have key less entry. if you have a the square key fob from any ford it will work. even if it has the trunk button. The flash procedure is key the truck on and off 8-10 times until the locks cycle. you can do that just to see if it enters program mode. If it does enter program mode you have the key less entry system, you now simply need to obtain a key fob and your done.

Make sure you have good wire connections. The door locks only need a pulse. after that a circuit in each door lock actuator stops current from making it to the motor. I am not familiar with the wiring on the door looks, just their function.

quick google search found this.
I think you are just sending voltage to both lock and unlock at the same time. you are correct on the ground trigger, at least by my understanding of the schematic. so you just need to ground on wire at a time. a test light won't give you the ground you need. you need a jumper wire to ground.

Ok I took it to the local stereo shop and the tech said I have to wire in 2 relays to make it work cause it's reverse polarity.

Can anyone help me with this? It doesn't seem to hard to wire them up just not sure hot to wire it into the lock and unlock wires in the truck.
