Ive posted on here many times about my 7.3's, but today its about a friends 91 gmc topkick with a cat 3116 engine in it.
CAT 3116 starts perfect, no rough idle no smoke, runs for exactly 30 seconds no matter the rpm (idle or held at 2000) then shuts right off. it fires right back up with out a problem and runs for another 30 seconds. constant beep from the dash, low coolant light (coolant is full) all gauges indicate everything is fine. any thoughts? im completely puzzled!
