My problem is I have a 2004 Ford excursion 60 diesel that has adrenaline high-pressure oil pump new ICP and a new IPR last year which increased my fuel economy back to stock again. Plus it ran great until the FICM started to fail and caused 4 injectors to go bad. So last week. I had 8 brand new not remanufactured injectors a new wiring harness (factory) brand new FICM by bullet proof 48 V four phase just put on last week. Then my catalytic converter got stolen while it was at a shop ..Prior to putting in new injectors and a FICM my feel economy was 23 on the highway and 17 to 18 depending on my driving around town now I’m getting 10 miles to the gallon after putting in the new FICM and 8 new Alliant( pure power) injectors in . It runs extremely smooth with steady climb in speed but no longer has the jump up it used to have . Since the factory catalytic converter can no longer be ordered from ford and Retarded California says I must have a factory Cat on it I decided to just weld a straight pipe where tue Cat used to be I am moving in tue next 90
Days to a county that doesn’t smog so I no longer have to deal with Comifornia regarded requirements. So is this a problem because of no Catalytic converter or ?? . Why am I having this loss of jump up power when trying to pass a vehicle and horrible fuel economy now?
