I have a full size cobra classic cb, but I'm having trouble finding a location to install it, everywhere looks dumb, I have an 05 supercab with front bench. Any ideas or pics?

You could mount it vertical just in front of the center portion of the seat. It's visible and center passengers can put their legs over or around it.

Another option is on the roof. If you have the center overhead consul, you could build another with the CB tucked into the back of it (fabric insert just below the CB's internal speaker). Maybe add an external speaker just below the dash.

I did the overhead consol mount in my '94, worked great. Sorry no pictures, truck has been gone for 4 yrs.

Imagination is you only limitation.
Good luck

I mounted mine in that recessed area thats just below the little cubby hole, its a great location because its outta the way, and doesn't interfere with the cupholder or center console

Thats pretty much what I did with mine.

I have the ugly gap a bit better what it is touching the headliner all around except for the front edge where there is a small 1/8" gap or so. Took probably too much work for what it was worth but it is all factor pieces and the sunglasses holder still works perfectly.

If you want pics, check out my link below, my 07 has the same dash as yours and it sounds like the same radio. There is a pic on the 2007 page. It looks OK to me??
