I was on a haul and I let the truck get pretty low on fuel - too low... as I was going up a steep hill I heard / felt the truck make a bit if a shutter and then about 5 seconds later the CEL came on. I am assuming this was because I was very low on fuel and going up a steep hill, maybe the last of the fuel moved away from the sender and it didn't like that, shuttered, threw a code? Thoughts on that theory....?

Also, is there a way I can "clear a code(s) on my own and see if it comes back to determine if I really have a problem, or do I need to take it to someone for a diagnostic? Thanks!

If fuel level gets low enough a P115A low fuel level code can get set. I believe that this limits engine power by reducing injector control pressure.

I'd get the code read to be sure that it was just a low fuel level problem.
