Okay so I've got this thing going on that I can't seem to wrap my head around. 2015 6.7 4x4. Every morning before I leave when I put the truck in reverse from park it doesn't engage right away. Take a few seconds then I feel it thump in gear. No problem. But once it's in reverse and I start to accelerate its almost as if it's not it gear like I can feel the brake pedal make a slight shutter. Then it will catch and move. It does this sometimes engaging in drive to. It goes in gear then I accelerate and it kinda takes a few seconds but there's a very slight slipping noise that I can hear and feel in the brake pedal. It will do it if the tranny is hot or cold and seems to be when taking off on and incline. Doesn't do it every time. I hope someone understands what I'm trying to explain because it's kinda hard to explain if you haven't expirenced this but any thoughts?

Hi Scag2400,

Since you're concerned, I'd recommend swinging by your dealership so they can look things over. You may want to take your tech on a test drive so you can replicate it for them. How many miles are on your rig?

yes check trans fluid level asap. brake should not hold at all unless you were on a hill and hill hold control came on. it takes a very steep hill unloaded for my to even come on as the idle torque of the diesel will start to climb most hills after stops. sounds like classic low fluid or leaking seal on pump.
