I'm getting sick of the front captains in my '99. I am thinking about switching out for a bench. I will keep the captains just in case I am making a mistake.

My question. Is this a straight "bolt in" ?

also...besides a junk yard where else should I be looking?

Yep, they should swap right out and a new split bench should bolt right in. Split bench is much more comfy, too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif Same seats, but with a big old huge armrest in the middle, and an extra seat.

Besides junk yards... there's always the dealer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif Or you might try EBAY. Also, http://www.powerstrokeshop.com probably has full seat replacements. It'd be best to find one in a junkyard... no shipping charges that way. Or, possibly find someone who'd like to swap for captains' chairs.

what do y'all think a bench seat at a junk yard should go for?

Whats a fair price. I may go looking on Monday and want to know the going rate.
