Taint never done even looked at one of these---is it harder than doing one on a small block chevy? Done a million of those.

Not hard at all, really no different than any other starter, JUST BIGGER!!!

I was actually suprised at how small actually. I was expecting something a lot bigger. You need quite a bit of extension to get to one bolt. Pretty easy though, I was done in like ten minutes in O'Reilly's parking lot.

Hello,

Over the weekend I changed the original starter to the heavy duty one from dbelectrical. Hardest part was getting to the electrical connections. Had to bend them a bit to fit the HD starter. As stated before, a wobble extension helps.

Thanks guys. I dont know if its bad or not but a couple times its ground the flywheel from a dead start as though it was already running.
