[Rulebreaker]

I was backed her out of the driveway this morning and when I went to take off it sudenly started running real rough. I looked down to see the check engine light was on. So I drove it back in the driveway but it has very little power. I shut it down and restarted it and it runs fine for about 2 seconds then it gets rough right as the light comes back on.Did I loose an injector??? Where do I start? She's 12 years old and has at least 192000 miles on her.RB

you probally have a bad valve cover gasket and bad under cover injector wires. once a glow plug shorts out it burns the wires for the injectors in the valve cover gasket.easy job to do, but a little pricey, ih has the gaskets on national back order right now so you will have to go thru ford for them, john

I just picked up a one gasket from my local IH dealer, also the wiring harness as well, and said that he could have me another one on Wed if I needed it. Might want to check with IH again.

A friend of mine put it on his computer and its either the wiring too or the #2 injector. So tomorrow I'll pull the drivers side cover and take a look. I'll keep ya posted. RB
