I got my new PCM and chip put in this morning! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif stock/econ/high idle/tow/bill's extreme/tony's extreme

And HOLY COW /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif Going across the street in second I stepped on it and spun the tires the whole way, leaving the intersection in a cloud of smoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

I can only imagine what it will be like when I put in the Stage I's tomorrow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif will get vids and pics soon!



on edit: I forget where but some were saying split shot injectors won't work on a single shot PCM. Wrong /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif (my CA engine has splits, and I am now on a single PCM on them until the Stage I's go in).

You should have seen me /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gifing when I first fired it up and revved it in the driveway. Heck, I still am. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

I smoked my first tailgater today, too /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif I have to be careful with that around here though.

One example: I forgot I had it set to the tow program, and there was a bad accident on the freeway so we crawled up to them at <5mph. When it finally reached the accident I punched it to get going and left about six highway patrol in a nize black haze. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/phoney.gif

not sure.. did you get a new pcm or reused the old one an running singles shot inj..
how does the truck run now like at a stop light heard a few guys were having problems with it running rought at a light etc..

I ordered another PCM that has been flashed to TDE1, for the single shot injectors.

It runs great. Usually only when first starting it up, or sometimes when coming down to idle from driving, it idles weird for only a couple of seconds at most, then sounds perfectly normal. When I had the 10k mod in a while back it idled waaay worse than this does...can't even tell now at idle.

Most problems I've heard of it running rough was with the opposite setup I have (running single shots on split shot programming). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
