I think I found the problem to my trany not shifting from 2nd to 3rd. I have a knob tuner (up to 100 hp)that has been working fine for 8 months. Recently, after using it, my truck would not shift from second to thrid gear. Even after turning it off, it still would not shift. Only after I actually disconnected the main power wire, did the truck begin to shift normally. When I hooked it back up it ran fine until I turned the tuner back on, then the same shift problem. Unhooked it and it went back to normal shifting. I just had my tranny rebuilt and this was doing this before it. Anyone know what would cause a manual tuner like this to not allow the truck to shift from 2nd to 3rd? First to second is nice and crisp as it should be. Is the tuner going bad or has something on PCM failed causing it to do this?
