I've got the DMFW and the vibration at idle. It's not always there, but it does vibrate from time to time. I've got the opportunity to make some $$$ delivering a horse. It's a 750 mile round trip over a couple of steep grades. Would this be a good thing to do? I do plan on putting in a new southbend clutch, but I've got to leave tomorrow morning....no new clutch for this trip.

Any help would be appreciated. DB

Mine was replaced at 99K miles, and by 110K it as making noise. I put another 70K on it before I replaced it and the only reason I replaced it was it started slipping. Only change was new injectors just before it started slipping. Hmm.. wonder if there was some sort of link between the two? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif

Anyway... I would run it. Only rarely do these FAIL, most of the time it just gets louder and the owner finally gets tired of it and replaces it.

Just my .02
