I crawled under the 95 PSD to see what was in front of me regarding a clutch install. I wanted to know what I needed to do to get the Clutch slave cylinder out of the bellhousing? It looks to have a metal slide clip on the outside which could be pried down towards the ground to remove. Any help with this aspect of the change would be greatly appreciated.

The rest looks pretty straight forward. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

I just don't want to break anything....

You're right, nothing else to it. Pretty simple.

If you still have the black plastic slave cylinder, consider upgrading it now while you're down there. Mine disintegrated on me without any warning. Bought a replacement slave at NAPA for cca $25 and it's made out of cast aluminum, can't break that easily.

When you remove the slave from the housing you may want to block the clutch pedal or unhook the push rod to the master so it can't be depressed while the slave is hanging free. If you do push the clutch in while the slave is hanging you will push the slave cylinder rod right out of its' "shell". You may be aware of this already, but then again you may not. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Good reminder about the clutch pedal.

And yes, all it takes is just the clip on the bellhousing. Grab a screwdriver, pry on it and it slides right off. It's as easy as it sounds. Really.

Anyway, I want to correct my earlier post because I received a few questions on what slave cylinder I bought at NAPA.
I was mistaken, I actually bought it at O'Reilly auto parts store. I think it was BrakeWare brand but the only thing I can find on OReilly website right now is Wagner F103476 for $31.99.

I'll check in my garage tonight, I still have the old box with the old slave and I'll post the part # here later.

Although I did find the box last night, I forgot it at home so I don't have the brand and number with me here but it's on my list first thing tonight, I'll go online and post it for ya.

Ok, I'm home and have the part # in front of me.
It's BrakeBest brand and the # is CSA 37745.
The box says "Replaces Wagner F103476".

Hope this helps.
