Is it a stick on or is it built into the door? If it is part of the door than you need to have the dealer or someone with IDS/PDS to get it for you from the module.

Usually there is a small plastic card with the factory code on it with the owner's manual and warranty stuff in the glove box. If you have this code then you can program your own code as well.

If you don't have this code then they will have to get it as the earlier poster described.

Good luck.

I would think that it would work just like my wife's 04 Mercury Sable.
The manual reads to create your own personal code, use the following procedure

1. Enter the factory code, the drivers door will unlock.
2. Within 5 seconds, press the 1-2 on the keypad.
3. Enter your personal 5 digit code [Note] each number must be entered within 5 seconds of each other.
4.The doors will then lock then unlock, to confirm your new keycode.

You can not change the factory code, the factory code will still work in addition to your new code.

You can have 2 different codes for locking/unlocking. 1 can be any code you want, the other code will never change, it is whatever Ford assigned to it originally. Look in the owners manual and it will tell you how to program them, along with your FOB's.

If you don't have that original code, check with the dealer and see if they can pull the code for you.
