What is a good method for compression checking the cylinders? I plan to swap out injectors this coming week and I plan to check compression per cylinder why I'm in there. I'll be using the glowplug adapter and checking compression before I disturb the injectors. I may recheck after the new injectors are installed and the cylinders are purged for any excess fluids, just for piece of mind.

I plan to pull all the glow plugs prior to compression testing for ease of engine spooling.
Should I pull the main fuse to the PCM? Should I just disconnect the injectors at the valve cover gasket connectors? Anyone that's done this, please let me know your opinion and/or opinion.

Thanks, Trav

Hello,
You can just disconnect the plugs at the valve cover gaskets
but if you really want to isolate everything, you can disconnect the main solenoid and then use a separate cable to send 12 positive to the starter solenoid and it will work fine and no other electronics will be on.
Yes, it is a good idea to pull all the glow plugs, it will make it easier on the starter motor.
