The ride was actually a little stiffer maybe because my doner axle/springs were from a f350 and my truck is a f250. But it rides much better and is so much quieter then the old leaf springs that clunk when turning and its much more sporty ride.
Can someone expand on this- “old leaf springs that clunk”. I noticed on my 4wd F350, wheels turned hard, backing up, I would get that “clunk” - is this a normal characteristic of the front leaf springs? I was unsure of the noise. Thanks!

Sounds like mine. But I don't know enough about it to know whether or not that is a normal characteristic.
