Welcome. Potentially, all years. What year is your truck? Previous problems? Mods, upgrades, etc.? What exactly is yours doing and under what conditions?

There are plenty of folks, including techs who share good info on this forum. The more info you provide, the better info you'll get. Take some time and set up your signature under 'my home'.

Typically if you have continual coolant loss with excessive "burping" you can have head gasket troubles. If the truck is run hard with mods, especially towing up hills, then the residue with little coolant loss maybe the result of EGR heat boiling coolant in EGR cooler. Higher HP from modes causes higher exhaust temps and the exhaust passing through EGR cooler on its way to EGR valve can boil coolant and lead to pressurization that causes cap pressure relief to open and vent some coolant.
The first step is to run lower coolant level. MIN mark on hot engine is good. The exp tank is higher than everything else so lowering coolant there doesn't make it "low" anywhere but in that tank.

Sounds like no worries then. They have a tsb or service message about running lower level to prevent the staining. both of mine had the dribbles if I kept them at MAX when hot but nothing since letting some out and keeping them down nearer to MIN when hot

the only way to know if its a head gasket is to
sample the oil <checking for coolant>, or checking
the coolant for combustion gasses.

you can pressure test your coolant system too.

heres the info about the DEGAS bottle level / TSB:

heres a write up from THE DOCTOR about combustion gas detection:

heres where you can get your oil samples tested:

and if you want heres a DIY combustion gas leak detector (kit):

if you get the above kit dont forget the DIESEL sniffin' chemical:
