This what I have done so far. New t-stat, New hoses (all of them) New fan clutch, Cook the radiator Out, New water pump, new temp gauge, New heavy duty trans cooler. I am having problem keeping it cool when driving down the interstate. When I had the radiator. cooked it seem to help. The guy told me that the coils were still somewhat clogged. I can't buy a new radiator for it. (don't have that kinda money). I need this truck to leave for Texas in two days. I will be pulling small camper down there to live in while I work. Is there something that I can do to help me get there without buying a new radiator. If someone could call me or I can call them. That Would be a lot easier for me to tell you all what is going on with me detail. I have been dealing with this problem for three weeks now. I have a 93 ford with a good radiator in it but it is a stick with no turbo in it. Could I use that in my 94 auto with turbo? Any help would be greatful. Thanks

When I had cooling problems while towing I ran the heat on the highest fan setting and watched the temperature gage. When you can afford it you'll need a new radiator - there's nothing else to replace.

yes your parts rad should fit but it dont have a built in tranny cooler my c6 had a non rad tranny cooler so swap your rads and see if that helps (new tranny cooleer is 40 bucks) a fan will help some but carry plenty of coolant and make sure to baby it when it over heats you must pull off thats all there is to it

also the fan has to push air through if you mount it but again unless its laying around its not worth it

id swap the rads and if need be buy a new tranny cooler just get one tell them the line size on in and out and they can find one at the autoparts store napa is good service
