Buddy of mine is looking at a 2003 350 CC LWB 7.3 with 120k on it. Beautiful all-around condition, well documented and maintained, no turbo dusting, fins look good, just a little shiny on the very ends, no slop or play in the shaft,etc... My concern is the flashing O/D light. The tranny shifts fine, no noise, and fluid is normal looking/ smelling. The P/O had an ATS "co-pilot" TC lock-up module in it.I'm not fam. with this product, anyone heard of it?Owner said that the light started flashing when the module was unplugged for sale. (the module goes with the truck)Any ideas/comments? Thanks!!

Have him disconnect the batteries for a few minutes and see if it still does it.

Also check to make sure the speedo is still working below 15 MPH. If the speedo is not working at low MPH's, it could be the VSS sensor and it's an easy cheap fix.

The flashing OD light is telling you of a stored code. After unplugging the batteries and it comes back, have it scanned for codes.
