Hi Swamp,

You can get one from IH for between 90 and a $100.00 I don't have the part number but maybe someone will chime in here with the number, soon.

Thanks,

Bill Miller.

Just started stutering while driving then last week it started to stall at stop signs once in a while. Same thing happened to my brother 99 powerstroke and it was the cps.

Hey Jim,

How you been, I have been pretty busy and also went to Jacksonville, FL. for my brothers 80'th birthday, although I read over the Forum every day. I have been restoring a Cub Cadet lawn tractor and I am going to try to go to the Red Power Roundup (IH tractors) in Lebanon, TN. in July. I am doing OK for an old man LOL.

Thanks,

Bill, don't tell me that you are modding up the horsepower and torque on your Cadet are you? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif If so we want videos of it throwing grass clippings like a snowblower! Next thing you know we'll see some of those perfect how-to photos of yours explaining how to install a garret turbo on a club cadet! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif Please let us know how the round-up goes....Take care.....

Is there a difference between a 97 cps and a 96 cps?

[/ QUOTE ]

The only difference is that the newer one has gold plated contacts, otherwise same specs. You can use either sensor in any PowerStroke.

Hope this helps.
