I posted earlier that i had put two new cps in my truck and they would not run but the old one would run.For those that run in to this , what i found is on the old Cps there is a metal shem between the engine and the CPS. For some reason if this shem is put in with the new sensor it will not run. The new Cps looks the same but it will not work with the shim in place. I removed the shim and the truck runs great. F350 7.3L 1994.

yes, the new ones are designed to work without the shim. They stop useing shims in 95'. The replacements were designed not to use them.
