2017 with 124,### miles. EGR, DEF, DPF ALL DELETED. Just replaced the turbo because of the bearings failed. Drove for one day (60 miles) and the white smoke out the tail pipe after at operating temperature was ridiculous. NO LOSS OF POWER, NO HESITATION, NO CODES, RUNS GREAT... Had the injectors scanned individually and they all checked out good. Came home from a test drive (getting it up to operating temperature) and removed the oil fill cap and it almost shot out of my hand. Doesn't seem to have back pressure when cold. Looking for idea's. I've talked to a few diesel mechanics and they all do not agree on the same fix. Cracked piston? Wouldn't it swell up and either crumble or not compress both ways (no loss of power or hesitation)... Bad injector or injector seals? Wouldn't this cause a CEL or at least run rough...... clogged or blocked CCV ? I do not know enough about this engine to know this . Any help or way to pinpoint the issue would be greatly appreciated.

If you suspect a clogged CCV filter there WILL be excessive oil carryover in the turbo inlet. I have had a few that were high idle applications mostly. High miles are not out of the question as the filter which is serviceable does have a service interval.

Problem solved, ran it for 60 miles with the oil fill cap off and no smoke or oil. Ordered the CCV relocation kit and its done .
