I have a 2008, Diesel, Crewcab (26,000 miles) that has a popping noise that keeps getting worse. The popping normally happens while I'm turning, but I also hear it when I'm stopped. The popping sounds like it is coming from somewhere in the engine compartment.
I have not lifted this truck or done anything else to modify it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, I'm beginning to get worried about driving this truck, but I'm also tired of the dealer working on my truck.
check the torque on your track bolt at the upper bracket, also check the torque of the radius arm bolts. both are very sensitive to proper torque and will pop and creak
