cruise wiring

I have a 00 6spd and my clutch pedal position switch is broken so my cruise doesnt work. I like being able to start the truck w/o having to get in and push the clutch, but i want my cruise back. Is there a way to put a jumper wire or somthing to get my cruise back w/o getting a new switch? If there is which wires do you connect/jump?

By the time you mess around putting on a jumper, you're better off replacing the switch. The safety aspect is a definite reason why you shouldn't jumper things like the starter lockout/cruise disable on the clutch switch. :nono:

What if you (inadvertently) or someone else starts your truck in gear and it runs over someone. That would be bad.
Well, they wouldn't let you run either car or truck at our local dragstrip. :shrug03:

Pins 3 and 4 are for cruise disable.
